7) Road Names

In the case of a very busy intersection, road numbers are painted on the road surface on the approach and within the lanes. An example might be, M25E (East bound) and A22S (Southbound) in left lane. In the Middle Lane one might see M25W (Westbound)*

* M Roads are motorways in the UK. An A road might be either a local road or a primary road.
